KIRBY C. JANKE PT, DPT, DC

Dr. Janke opened Skaneateles Spine and Sport in 1993 and has been at the same address since. He is originally a native of Cortland, NY. He resides in the village of Skaneateles, with his 2 children (15 and 19 years old) and is active in many community organizations, including the Parks and Recreation Council of Skaneateles, the Skaneateles Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Sons of the American Legion. When his children were younger, he was a long-time coach in the Lakeshore Baseball League, the Skaneateles Youth Soccer League, and Delaney Youth Basketball league. He has previously served the boards of the Skaneateles Rotary Club, the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce, the Austin Park Development Fund, the Fennell Street Development Team, and the Lakeshore Baseball League.

Outside of work, Dr. Janke is an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, swimming, and boating on Skaneateles Lake, cross country and downhill skiing, snow shoeing, conditioning exercise, and walking his beloved dog. He has developed a keen interest in nutrition and keeping the human body healthy through diet, exercise, and mindfulness.

GEORGE A. CHARTRAND PTA, LMT

George, our physical therapist assistant, has been an important member of our team since 1994. He was raised and currently lives in Elbridge, NY. He attended Onondaga Coomunity College where he was awarded Magna Cum Lauda and his Physical Therapy Assistant degree. In addition he received his massage therapist degree from the Finger Lakes School of Massage. He attends continuing education seminars on a regular basis.

AMBER SMART -Receptionist

Amber has been a valuable member of our team since 2007. She specializes in accounts receivable, patient services, and billing. Originally from Baldwinsville, NY she now currently resides with her husband and children in Memphis NY.

Outside of work, Amber is an avid snowmobiler, and Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
